HOW IT WORKS · /HOW-IT-WORKS

A few quick questions / We price it / A principal signs it / 1–2 business days

You will have an indication in one to two business days. We publish the standard and we hold it.

What you see

01

A few quick questions

Plain English. No ACORD form, no insurance vocabulary. About a minute on your phone.

02

We price it

A human you can talk to. One that communicates with the underwriter and can explain it to you in real words.

03

A principal signs it

Nothing reaches you until it has been reviewed and signed by a licensed principal of this agency.

04

1–2 business days

You hold it next to your renewal. If the numbers change, we reissue it.

What happens internally

The site shows this chain because both sides matter: what you answer, and what we do with it before anything reaches you.

01

Intake lands

Your answers, timestamp, IP address, and the exact consent language displayed. A person reads them the same day they come in.

02

Fit is confirmed

Payroll in Arizona, Utah, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Illinois, or Texas. People on a W-2, not counting owners or officers. Not certificate-only.

03

Class is confirmed

Plumbing NOC & Drivers is 5183 unless the work says otherwise. HVAC is 5537. Electrical wiring within buildings is 5190. Fire sprinkler installation is 5188. We do not guess, and we do not invent a code.

04

An underwriter prices it

A human you can talk to. One that communicates with the underwriter and can explain it to you in real words.

05

A licensed principal reviews and signs it

If they will not sign it, you do not see it. Nothing is an indication until a licensed principal of this agency has reviewed it.

06

The indication is issued

We send it to you, with the assumptions behind the number.

07

Quote when you are in the window

If your renewal is more than 60 days out, you hold the indication against the offer when it lands. Within 60 days of your renewal or effective date, we can work a real quote. If the facts change, we reissue it.

08

Bind

Before a policy can be bound, the insured must sign an application attesting that the information provided is true and complete. Coverage begins only when a policy is bound in writing by the insurer. Direct-billed on Clear Spring Property and Casualty Group paper. ROC and DOPL certificate filings go out as part of binding.

Why step 6 is the point

Step 6 is the reason this site exists. Shopping workers compensation the ordinary way means someone at your current agency finds out you are looking. We issue an indication you can hold against the renewal. We do not create a submission your incumbent will see, and we do not ask you to tip them off. If the numbers are not better, you stay. If they are, you move on your timeline.
