What you get
An indication in one to two business days, reviewed and signed by a licensed principal of this agency. Hold it against the renewal. Within 60 days of your renewal or effective date, we can work a real quote. Direct-billed on Clear Spring Property and Casualty Group paper. An indication is not a quote, not a binder, and it creates no coverage.
Stop-work orders and 1099 crews
Illinois can shut a job down until proof of coverage is provided, and the fines for knowingly going without coverage run per day. In construction, the Employee Classification Act (820 ILCS 185) presumes the people doing the work are employees unless strict tests are met — so a crew paid on 1099s is often payroll in an audit. Tell us how you pay your crew and we will price it honestly. Illinois also requires the workers compensation notice posted where your employees can see it; we send it when we bind.
